RiP: A remix manifesto

The world's first 'open source documentary' by web activist and filmmaker Brett Gaylor, this film explores issues of copyright in the information age. It is a mashup of work from hundreds of different people who have contributed to the Open Source Cinema website.

RiP!: A Remix Manifesto won the IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam) Audience Award, as well as the Cadillac People’s Choice Award at the Whistler Film Festival, in 2008. It also won the Special Jury Prize at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal.
