Grades 4 & 5 students from Williams-Cone Elementary School listened to The Rainy Day, a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and used paint to interpret the feeling of the poem. Colors were blended and a variety of brush strokes and marks made with tools such as fingers and wooden brush handles were used. Interpretation is a 21st century skill. |
