Macros not working

First of all, thanks for creating such a fantastic piece of software! I very much want to create my own maps, but am having problems with the data editor. I have enabled macros, and using both medium/low security on excel. The file loads fine, but when I click on "clear data" (or any of the other macro buttons) I get an error message "VBE6EXT.OLB cannot be loaded". You click OK then get "Unexpected error (50001)", then it goes back to normal. When you click on "clear data" again, you get "Can't execute code in break mode". Why is it not working? I don't think I have any settings wrong... Thanks for the help! Ian (WaterAid) |

Thanks for your message. I never heard of that error before, but google provided some answers. Apparently it can be caused if you are using Windows server 2003 and you are not logged in as an 'administrator'. Perhaps you could try it on a different PC, otherwise you would need to get administrator privileges for the PC you are using.
It could also be a problem with Excel itself. In that case, you could try running "detect & repair" under the Excel help menu (see http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/4826095/130379_Full.jpg)
